CDTPy | Python for Scientists

GitHub Freestyle

This mission is in response to @lewisdwright's request for an intro to GitHub. You're going to get a proper intro to both Git and Github during Bath's module so I'm not going to cover it explicitly. Instead here's a quick mission that's just for fun to get you going. Once you get what Git is and how it works you're going to wonder how you've lived so long with out it. There will be no going back.

Objectives

  1. Install Git
  2. Signup for a GitHub account (if you haven't already).
  3. Fork the GitHub repository below.
  4. Do something creative with Python, stage the files and commit them.
  5. Push Git repo to GitHub and create a pull request.
