SuperSolar Research Methods in PV I: Materials and Techniques

This one day course is designed for early stage researchers and PhD students in photovoltaics - and those wishing to update their skills and to meet others in the field. Our theme this year is Materials and Techniques for PV - leading experts will lecture on topics of underpinning relevance for materials and device research in PV. Topics will include inorganic and organic materials fundamentals, transparent conductors, optical properties, optical spectroscopy and microstructure. The workshop is part of a two year cycle and will be followed up by a Forcus on PV Devices workshop in 2018. The location in Bangor makes it especially convenient for those attending PVSAT 2014 (5 - 7 April) at the same venue.
