Dr Yau Yau Tse is a Lecturer in the Department of Materials at Loughborough University with extensive experience in microstructural characterisation using electron microscopy techniques and in understanding materials Processing – Microstructure – Performance relationships of thin films, advanced functional and structural materials. Her particular research interests lie in characterizing processing induced texture, defects, grain boundaries and other interfaces in thin films at different length scales using EBSD, HRTEM and AC-STEM.
