Project

Perovskite Solar Cells

This project will focus on research associated with perovskite solar cells. The main aim will be to create a perovskite solar cell which is stable to environmental atmosphere and temperature by investigating the impact of different electrode materials and perovskite absorber composition. A main challenge will be to identify routes to make the perovskite absorber itself insoluble to water. A second aspect of her work will be to integrate and optimise lead free perovskite semiconductors in the solar cells. These will initially include Sn perovskites, but also expand to other metals as time proceeds
